Michael holds a Master’s in Counselor Education from Florida Atlantic University and is currently pursuing LPC licensure. He brings a wealth of experience in addressing a range of issues, including addiction and co-occurring disorders, as well as working with children and adults facing challenges such as autism, depression, and anxiety. His diverse background equips him with the skills necessary to support individuals from various walks of life.
Utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based practices, Michael focuses on helping clients identify distorted thinking patterns, challenge negative self-talk, and reframe their thoughts and behaviors. He adopts a Person-Centered, non-directive approach, believing that individuals are the experts of their own lives. This philosophy empowers clients to take charge of their healing journeys, fostering a sense of agency and self-discovery.
Michael is passionate about walking alongside clients as they navigate their life stories. With empathy and compassion, he provides a safe and supportive environment where individuals can explore their experiences and work towards healing.
