Lex Hingle, MSW, Supervisee in Social Work

Lex is a dedicated therapist passionate about helping individuals cultivate peace and joy in their minds and lives. Her approach combines empathy, evidence-based practices, and a deep commitment to creating a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can freely explore their emotions and experiences.

As a Supervisee of Social Work, Lex graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with both a Bachelor’s in Psychology and a Master’s in Clinical Social Work. In addition to her clinical training, she is a certified yoga teacher and a long-time practitioner of yoga and meditation, which enrich her therapeutic practice.

Lex integrates mindfulness-based techniques and a holistic understanding of the mind-body connection into her work. She is passionate about empowering clients to reconnect with their inner wisdom and strength, supporting them on their journey toward personal growth, self-discovery, and lasting resilience.

With a focus on meeting clients where they are, Lex employs a range of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness techniques, and somatic approaches. Her goal is to provide a compassionate and supportive environment that facilitates meaningful and sustainable change in her clients' lives.
